Before working for Actegy Health I had little experience in web design. The original build for my website relied on software to create a simple, responsive end product where all the coding was taken care of in the background. This was great at the time, but with every software update my site needed updating to keep up with technology, which takes up valuable time and eventually compromised on design elements due to software restrictions. My website became boring, and somewhat lacking in creative flare.

For me the solution was simple. With a new knowledge for HTML and CSS I should rebuild my site from scratch. The end product would keep my simple aesthetic and use easy navigation, but allow complete control over technology. This would enable me to build interactive elements (such as the home page slider) or add original imagery from my Instagram, creating a more personal creative hub. In doing so, it would allow a stronger base from which I can present myself and my work.
